Ferrari has released the first official photographs of its sexy,
V-8 powered Ferrari California grand tourer.
Available exclusively as a folding hard top convertible, the
California's
chassis and bodywork are all-aluminum, and the car's front-mounted,
4.3-liter, 454-hp direct injection V-8 is coupled to a 7-speed dual
clutch transmission. With more power than a Maserati Granturismo S,
Ferrari says the California should sprint from 0 to 60 mph in less
than 4.0 seconds.
A new multilink rear suspension system enhances the Ferrari's ride
comfort,
and the California is also equipped with the exclusive F1-Trac
traction
control system (which debuted on the 599 GTB Fiorano). Brembo brakes
with
carbon-ceramic discs will come standard.
Complementing the Ferrari's classic styling cues is a cabin lined with
new seats, steering wheel, instrument panel and infotainment system.
