The tuner’s package will add lighter carbon-fiber hood and fender skins with an additional duct just ahead of the door, a revised front fascia, a carbon fiber splitter and hollow core spokes for the wheels.
Also, thanks to a freer-flowing titanium exhaust system and intake and a light ECU reprogram the V10 engine delivers an extra 20 hp.

2010 Lexus RX 350 Spotlight
Article file under http://www.edmunds.com/
Introduction
Since its inception in 1990, Lexus has made a habit of producing quality vehicles that appeal to multitudes of luxury-segment buyers. A great example is the ever-popular RX-series luxury crossover SUV. Fully redesigned for 2010, the Lexus RX 350 doesn't stray too far from its successful formula of pleasant driving dynamics, a "just right" five-passenger size, a cabin full of luxury features and impeccable build quality.
Understandably, Lexus took a conservative approach when it reworked its bread-and-butter crossover. The tweaks made to this new-generation RX include a slight increase in width (though other dimensions remain essentially unchanged), bigger standard wheels (18s versus 17s), bigger brakes, a new six-speed transmission, more airbags (now at 10), a keyless ignition system and a new mouse-like multifunction controller for the navigation system that's actually both clever and intuitive to use. One downside to these new features, however, is that they contribute to the new 2010 RX 350's weight gain -- it's up more than 400 pounds compared to last year's model.
Powertrains and Performance
A 3.5-liter V6 rated at 275 horsepower and 257 pound-feet of torque powers the 2010 Lexus RX 350. A six-speed automatic transmission is standard, and buyers have a choice of either front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. Lexus claims either version will run from zero to 60 mph in about 7.5 seconds.
Fuel economy estimates stand at 18 mpg city/25 mpg highway and 21 mpg combined for the FWD model, with the AWD version rating 1 mpg less. Properly equipped, the RX 350 can tow up to 3,500 pounds.

2010 Lexus RX
Article file under http://consumerguideauto.howstuffworks.com/
The 2010 Lexus RX is redesigned, gaining freshened styling, new features, and an updated gas/electric hybrid model. This premium midsize crossover SUV seats five and comes in RX 350 and new-for-2010 hybrid RX 450h versions. Both are available with front- or all-wheel drive. The 2010 model is about an inch longer in wheelbase and overall length compared with the 2009 RX. RX 350 has a 275-hp 3.5-liter V6 engine and a 6-speed automatic transmission.
This represents a gain of 5 hp over the 2009 RX 350. The RX 450h pairs a 3.5-liter gas V6 with an electric motor for 295 hp total, an increase of 27 hp over the 2009 RX 400h. Like other Toyota and Lexus hybrids, the RX 450h can run on one or both of its power sources to balance acceleration and fuel economy. It requires no plug-in charging and uses a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT). Maximum towing capacity is 3500 lb.
Available safety features include ABS, traction control, antiskid system, curtain side airbags, front side airbags, and front knee airbags. Also offered is Lexus' Pre-Collision System, which is designed to tighten the seatbelts and ready full braking power when sensors detect an imminent collision. Hill-start assist is a new standard feature. The available navigation system is controlled by a console-mounted "Remote Touch" module and includes real-time traffic and weather alerts.
An available side-view monitoring system uses TV cameras to show a wide-angle passenger-side view of the vehicle on the navigation screen. Other available features on the 2010 Lexus RX include a hard drive for storing digital music files, dual-screen DVD entertainment, adaptive cruise control, and a sport suspension. This evaluation is based on preview test drives.

2009 Lexus ES 350
Article file under http://consumerguideauto.howstuffworks.com/
2009-lexus-es-350-5.htm
The 2009 Lexus ES 350 should see no major changes after adding a new trim level to the lineup in 2008. The Pebble Beach Edition will offer three exclusive colors and seven-spoke 17-inch wheels along with special badging and interior trim. The ES remains essentially a luxury version of the Toyota Camry; Lexus is Toyota's premium division. The ES 350 is powered by a 272-hp 3.5-liter V6. The sole transmission is a 6-speed automatic. Available safety features include ABS, traction control, an antiskid system, front side airbags, curtain side airbags, rear side airbags, and front knee airbags. Lexus's Pre-Collision System, which readies airbags, seatbelts, and brakes when sensors detect a skid or imminent crash, is optional. It's paired with adaptive cruise control.
Wood interior trim and a sunroof are included, but leather upholstery is optional. Other options include the Ultra Luxury Package with a "panorama" glass roof, a navigation system with a rearview camera, and steering-linked headlamps. This report is based on evaluations of the 2008 ES 350.
